SALT SHAKER FOUNDATION TO HOLD 3rd ANNUAL FUNDRAISER

PJ Whelihan’s in Cherry Hill is the place to be on Saturday night, July 26

On Saturday night, July 26, The Salt Shaker Foundation will hold its third annual “Team Margaritaville or Bust” fundraiser at PJ Whelihan’s in Cherry Hill, N.J. The event raises money to support the team, which will compete next month in the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s LIVESTRONG Challenge in Philadelphia. This year, a portion of the money raised will also be donated locally to the Cooper Cancer Institute at Cooper University Hospital.

The party will start at 7:00 p.m. at PJ Whelihan’s Pub and Restaurant, located on Route 70 in Cherry Hill. Tickets are $35 per person and can be obtained by contacting Salt Shaker Foundation Trustee Dottie Bolinsky by phone at 609-870-0533 or by e-mail at dorothy.bolinsky@dbr.com.

Thanks to the support and donation of products, services and cash from sponsors around the Delaware Valley, there will be a silent auction, raffle for gift baskets and a Grand Prize Drawing for a Cannondale bicycle valued at over $1,400, graciously donated by Keswick Cycle Company in Cherry Hill. Partygoers can also dance to the sounds of Parrotbeach, one of the East Coast’s most popular Jimmy Buffett tribute bands.

Major event sponsors are Stantec, a large, professional design and consulting services firm in Mount Laurel; and CDW, a large, national technology solution provider with over 250 people based locally in Voorhees.

The Salt Shaker Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that was formed by a group of friends to raise money in support of cancer research, education and survivorship programs. In just the last two years, the Foundation has raised over $100,000, making them one of the most successful fundraising affiliates of the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
