Today I got the news that my friend Dee's (Women of Teal) surgery went well. I have been thinking of her daily so this was certainly great news! She is doing well and is already up and walking. As I read the update email from her family I was reminded of where our friendship began - LIVESTRONG Summit 2006.
One of the highlights (too many to list) of that Summit was the live performance by the band Wideawake singing a long version of "Maybe Tonight, Maybe Tomorrow." This has been the LIVESTRONG (LAF) theme for the last few years. Here is the video on youtube. Download the song at iTunes. All proceeds benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
