Though I serve as the team captain I think it is OK for me to give a big CONGRATULATIONS to Team Down One! As of this morning Team Down One has offically raised over $40,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation since February 13, 2007.
I remember starting out and when family and friends saw my stated goal of $30,000 for 2007 they thought I was crazy. Heck, we did not hit $30,000 last year, but we did raise $21,271. Not bad, not bad at all! Now this year we have raised $18,965 and still growing ;-) I consider this a tremendous accomplishment which would not be possible without the support of our family, friends and our team sponsors.
