Over 10,000 people participated in the 13th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraising walk held in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. They raise over 1.2 million dollars for the American Cancer Society (ACS.) The ACS will use the money for research, educations and advocacy.
The most impressive number is the 10,000 people. We need to get more people involved in the fight against cancer. It does not matter if it for Breast cancer, Prostate, Ovarian or all cancers. We need more people and seeing over 10,000 people in my area is awesome.
