"Tyler Schutte planned to be an elementary teacher. To that end, the 2002 La Salle High School graduate received a bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio State University in 2007 and was to begin the final quarter of his master’s program in June. It wasn’t to be. Six months ago, Mr. Schutte, 24, was diagnosed with extrapulmonary small cell carcinoma. He died Monday at the Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills."
