"The public in general is better educated because of what they can read on
the Internet and through the media coverage every October," Dillon said. "Radio,
television and newspapers have all helped in getting the word out. That being
said, there are still some people out there who don't know about it and are not
getting their annual exams."
It is important to point out that we have made strides, but there is still so much work left to do. This month has really made a difference in raising awareness about breast cancer.
