I had to post this. When I broke down the first time during the Challenge I walked up to the BIKELINE van and there was this guy there. He was a "die hard" LAF supporter with the LIVESTRONG wristband tattooed in a tribal pattern around his right arm. Looked great!
I felt bad for him as his pedal had broken from the bike center shaft. He was told he could not continue in the Challenge as he needed to have it replaced.
Now here is something very odd......when I looked at our photos last night I noticed at the starting line this guy was right next to me and my wife has 2-3 photos of him.
What are the chances that two guys who started together would have a problem in the same exact spot and both could no longer continue?
